About the Journey
What we’re building
Too many people navigate pelvic health symptoms without a clear path to forward.
I heard, “Why did no one tell me?” and “I wish I had known this sooner!” one too many times…and when something’s not right, I have a heard time letting it go.
Urinary leakage, bowel difficulties, pelvic pressure, and discomfort can shape everyday decisions: where to go, what to wear, how to move, and whether to ask for help. Finding the words to explain those symptoms—and knowing what to do next—can feel overwhelming.
At least 1 in 4 U.S. women aged 20 and older reported at least one symptomatic pelvic floor disorder. That proportion rises to nearly 50% as women age. This is probably an underestimate due to underreporting and lack of screening. Behind those numbers are people who deserve understandable information and a care plan that reflects their lives.
PelviPath is building a clearer path forward.
Maria told me she was grateful for this appointment that she waited 6 months for, but her long work hours, childcare responsibilities and transportation difficulties meant that she wouldn’t be making it to any follow up appointments.
We are developing a home management system that brings pelvic health tools, an educational guide, and a digital companion together in one place. This does not replace the clinician, rather it creates a communication, knowledge and self-care bridge. Our goal is to help people understand their bodies, build practical skills, and participate more confidently in their health care.
Education is at the center of our approach. PelviPath helps people explore connections across bladder, bowel, muscle, hormonal, and emotional health, track their experiences, and develop clear notes and questions to share with their healthcare team.
Our tools are designed to support comfort and everyday routines through changing pelvic health needs, including childbirth recovery, menopause, and aging. We aim to connect home management with appropriate professional care, giving people guidance for both daily self-care and seeking additional support.
You deserve to feel informed, supported, and hopeful about what comes next. Wherever you begin, PelviPath is here to help you find your path forward.
PelviPath products and its digital companion are currently in development.
About the Founder
Them: “You need to pick just one problem to solve really well.”
Me: “But there are so many interconnected problems in Women’s Health that trying to solve more than one through making connections between symptoms and systems is the point…”
